MohammadMomin_Ban1 Nakodar is home to two 17th century architectural gems, the beautifully maintained Mughal-era tombs of court musician Mohammad Momin, a tanpura maestro, and his student Haji Jamal. The tomb of Mohammad Momin has striking pointed arches, carved screens, intricate glazed tiles and plaster walls with painted designs. Facing it is the tomb of Haji Jamal, set atop a square platform with two flights of steps on each side, and crowned by a bulbous dome, also ornamented with splendid tiles.
